Aldrich Development will be a nationally recognized as a "certified" Green Builder this month by the National Association of Home Builders. We plan to incorporate these cutting-edge energy efficiency techniques into our projects in the Caribbean and in Southwest Florida. We are currently reviewing more efficient solar and wind technologies. In the Caribbean it is not only required but essential to have a cistern large enough to maintain a family's residence for several months at a time. As Southwest Florida continues to experience periods of drought, an underground cistern will make maintaing landscaping and pools a simple task.
Solar heat will be incorporated into all homes and pools. Water heaters that circulate to a roof panel during the day will reduce the need for electricity and gas to heat our pools and showers.
